César Sá Esteves and Octávio Castelo Paulo are the new managing partners of SRS Legal, succeeding Pedro Rebelo de Sousa, who has held this position since 1992.
The general assembly also elected a new Board of Directors, chaired by Pedro Rebelo de Sousa and comprised by César Sá Esteves, Octávio Castelo Paulo, José Luís Moreira da Silva, Alexandra Valente, Gonçalo Anastácio, Alexandre Roque and Maria José de Tavares.
The managing partner in charge of the Corporate & Finance Department, Octávio Castelo Paulo has been a partner at the law firm Simmons & Simmons Rebelo de Sousa, now SRS Legal, since 1999, where he is the head of the Corporate, M&A, Commercial and TMT practices (Telecommunications, Media and Technology).
With over 25 years' experience, the lawyer has advised national and international clients on mergers and acquisitions, and on a wide range of corporate/M&A and TMT issues, in Portugal and Angola. He is also responsible for SRS's Angola Desk and is a member of the Angolan Bar Associatian.
César Sá Esteves, managing partner in charge of the Labour & Social Security Department, has around 25 years' experience in all areas of employment and social security law, including litigation. He has developed his work in advising companies on employment law, particularly in corporate restructuring operations, negotiating IRCTs, managing collective disputes, defining HR policies and contractual models.
