SRS Advogados will host international specialists in Portugal to debate the potential consequences of Brexit for international relations and business. The conference will take place on the 1 June in the SRS Auditorium in Lisbon.
In a referendum on the 23 June, the British people will decide whether or not to stay in or leave the European Union. This decision will have significant consequences for the EU community and international relationship as a whole. So, SRS Advogados will be bringing international specialists to discuss these issues. Philip Wood, Special Global Counsel and Head of the Intelligence Unit at Allen & Overy Global Law, will open the conference with a talk on "the British perspective", and House of Commons Member, the Hon. Stephen Hammond, will speak about "a vision of the British Parliament".
The French ambassador, Jean-François Blarel, will then present "the European ideal," and the Canadian ambassador, Jeffrey Marder will talk on "the North-American perspective",
This will be followed by a Q&A session, moderated by Alan Johnson, ex-member of the Jerónimo Martins Group Administrative Counsel.
