SRS Legal has two new Partners and a new Of Counsel

Leonor Francisco, from SRS's Employment and Social Security Department, has a distinguished career spanning some 25 years and is a prominent Employment Law practitioner in Portugal. Her appointment as Partner recognises not only her vast experience, expertise and contribution to SRS Legal, but also her commitment to the firm's vision and values.

Nuno Calaim Lourenço, from SRS's Competition and European Union Department, brings with him more than 20 years of experience in competition law, having worked not only in Portugal but also in Brussels. With a professional career that includes a stint at the European Commission - in the Directorate-General for Competition - and at an international law firm, he is currently a reference in the area of Competition and the European Union. He holds an LLM from Queen Mary, University of London, and a Master's degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon. In 2022, Nuno completed his PhD at the University of Minho, with a thesis on the relationship between competition and public procurement. His appointment as Partner is a testament to his comprehensive knowledge and commitment to providing high-quality legal solutions to SRS Legal's clients, in line with the firm's values and vision.

Duarte Pirra Xarepe, also from SRS's Competition and European Union Department, also has a distinguished career in law, with around 20 years' experience in Portugal and Spain. As an active member of the Circle of Portuguese Competition Lawyers, he is a recognised expert in the field, contributing to the continued success of SRS Legal. His appointment as Of Counsel allows SRS to maintain a high level of legal guidance in the area, while recognising Duarte's in-depth knowledge and commitment.
