SRS Legal advises Oceano Fresco on investment round

SRS Legal advised Oceano Fresco on its recent €17 million funding round, which was financed by Aqua-Spark, Bluecrow, Indico Capital and the Deal by Deal fund managed by Banco Português de Fomento.

The SRS Legal team that carried out the transaction was led by Paulo Bandeira (Partner), Clara Coelho (Associate) and Solange Fernandes (Associate).

Paulo Bandeira emphasised the importance of successful funding rounds for Portuguese startups in the area of sustainability. This funding round is relevant because it attracted Portuguese and foreign capital, in a complex transaction involving the subscription of different investment instruments by various investors.

For SRS Legal it is an affirmation of the trust that Portuguese startups and investment funds place in its work, as well as recognition of its experience in Private Equity, Venture Capital and Startups.

SRS Legal was the only Portuguese law firm to provide legal advice on the three largest investment transactions in startups carried out in Portugal during 2024: (i) Indiecampers with a value of €35 million, (ii) SwordHealth with a value of €30 million and (iii) Oceano Fresco with a value of €17 million.
