SRS Legal advises Indico Capital Partners' investment in Rows

SRS Legal has advised Indico Capital Partners - through Indico R&D fund - in its investment in Rows, an Artificial Intelligence powered spreadsheet platform.

SRS Legal team was led by Paulo Bandeira (Partner) and Solange Fernandes (Associate), from the Startups Practice Area. Paulo Bandeira emphasised the complexity of the transaction, as it is multi-jurisdictional and involves the combination of legal solutions and instruments in Germany and Portugal.

Rows, which raised eight million euros in this round, supports all the functionality from Excel and Sheets programs alongside its own layout.

This is the first investment from the new Indico R&D Fund, a 70 million euros fund that has a particular focus on Portuguese technology companies, preferably certified by the National Innovation Agency (Agência Nacional da Inovação), with an investment of up to five million euros per company.

This year, SRS Legal has already communicated its advisement to the Bridges Fund Management on the sale of Fitness Hut gyms, to Krones AG on an investment in Perfinox and to Primetag on an investment round.
