Joana Farrajota has joint SRS Advogados as part of the expansion strategy of the Arbitration and Mediation department.
Holding a PhD in Private Law from the Law Faculty of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, where she is now a lecturer, SRS Advogados' new Of Counsel was previously a Technical Specialist working for the Minister for Agriculture and Sea, between 2014 and 2015, and was Assistant to the State Secretary for the Interior, between 2010 and 2011.
Joana Farrajota is also a lecturer at the Angola Business School and Chairperson for the subjects of "The Fundamental Concepts of the Law", "Studies on Civil Law II", "Commercial Law", amongst others, at the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa.
She was a researcher at the London School of Economics and the Max-Planck‑Institut Für Ausländisches Und Internationales Privatrecht in 2009, and of the European University Institute in 2007.
Joana Farrajota has participated in numerous Masters' Examinations, along with jurors and mentors, and has published several academic works in the areas of Public and Private Law.
