Rita Lynce de Faria has joined SRS Advogados as a part of the strategy to strengthen the Corporate and Commercial Law Department, led by José Carlos Soares Machado.
A researcher from the Catolica Research Centre for the Future of Law, Rita Lynce de Faria has been a lecturer at the Law Faculty of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa since 1996, where she has taught, inter alia, Civil Procedural Law, Executive Process and Appeals, General Theory of Legal Business, Protective Measures in Intellectual Property Law, Law of Evidence and Donations. She is currently lecturing on Civil Procedural Law, Civil Procedure Practice, Law of Obligations, and General Theory of Civil Law in Universidade Católica.
The author of numerous publications and speaker at numerous conferences, Rita Lynce de Faria has developed her academic career in the area of Civil Legal Sciences. She also has a PHD from the Law Faculty of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, "Preventive and interlocutory injunctions in Portuguese civil proceedings - a difficult balance". She concluded her master's degree with the same grade for her thesis on "On the instrumentality of non-specific preventative injunctions".
In 2008, Rita Lynce de Faria was executive coordinator of the Centre of Arbitration at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and between 2002 and 2005 was a member of the Governing Board of the Law Faculty at Universidade Católica.
