Mariana França Gouveia has been chosen for the Scholar-in-Residence program of Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr. The legal advisor of SRS Advogados will work with the international arbitration team, directed by Gary Born, one of the world's international authorities in arbitration.
Professor of the Faculty of Law at Nova University and Director of the Laboratory of Alternative Dispute Resolution, Mariana França Gouveia is part of a group of three academics chosen to partake in the internship program of Wilmer Hale, together with Petra Butler of Victoria University (EUA) and Michael Ewing-Chow of the National University of Singapore.
The Scholar-in-Residence program will take place from 18 July to 3 August and annually reunites academics from various jurisdictions in London to collaborate and share knowledge with the resident international arbitration team.
The Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr is a law firm established in the United States and with branches around the world. Its international arbitration team is based in London and is directed by Gary Born who is an international authority in arbitration and author of the recognised publication International Commercial Arbitration.
