Luís Neto Galvão was at the ‘Café da Ciência’ on 9 October in the 'Salão Nobre0 of the Portuguese Parliament to debate Artificial Intelligence (AI), in an initiative organised by the Education and Science Committee and the Ciência Viva Agency, in collaboration with the Constitutional Affairs, Rights, Freedoms and Guarantees Committee.
What can and can't AI do? What are its capabilities and limitations? How is the EU Artificial Intelligence Act reflected in Portugal? What should policymakers take into account when legislating on AI? What are the responsibilities and rights of AI creators and users?
