José Luís Moreira da Silva participated as a speaker at the 2nd Congress of the Federation of Portuguese Speaking Lawyers (FALP), on 7th November 2023.
The Partner at SRS Legal - where he heads the Administrative Law and Public Procurement Department - and President of the Portuguese Law Firms Association was part of a panel discussion on the topic of Local Content in the Oil Industry: Will AI be compatible? He was joined by Alexandre Scherman Rocha, (Scherman Advocacia, Brazil, Chairman of the FALP Oil and Energy Law Working Group) and João Bravo da Costa, (FBL Advogados, Angola, 1st Vice-Chairman of the FALP Oil and Energy Law Working Group).
Under the macro-theme AI in the Legal Profession of the 21st Century, the 2nd FALP Congress will take place on 06 and 07 November 2023 at the Cardinal de Medeiros Auditorium at the Portuguese Catholic University in Lisbon. In this second edition of the event, the FALP once again reinforced its mission of bringing together Portuguese-speaking lawyers from all four continents, promoting opportunities and fostering the reciprocal exchange of professional professional experiences that benefit all lawyers who who communicate in Portuguese.
