José Carlos Soares Machado and Mariana França Gouveia, respectively Partner and Of Counsel at SRS Advogados, are lecturers for the sixth University Extension Course in Arbitration at Universidade Nova de Lisboa's Law Faculty (FDUNL). Mariana França Gouveia is coordinating the arbitration course, which boasts nationally and internationally recognised teaching staff.
José Carlos Soares Machado, the Partner who leads SRS Advogados' Civil and Commercial Litigation Department, will lecture part of the module on 'The Arbitration Process'. This will cover questions such as the founding principles of the arbitration process, its stages, organisation and autonomy.
Mariana França Gouveia, Of Counsel at SRS Advogados and Professor at FDUNL, will also be teaching part of the same module. "I have had the pleasure of coordinating this course since 2008. It has been a fascinating experience and has considerably improved my academic and professional practice. I wholeheartedly recommend the course to anyone who wants to be prepared for the future of their profession," she said.
The course is taking place between the 16th January and the 20th June 2015, at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa's Law Faculty.
