Carlos Costa Pina participates as a speaker at The Economist's World Ocean Summit
Carlos Costa Pina took part as a speaker, at March 13th, at the World Ocean Summit, organized by The Economist in Lisbon.
The SRS Legal Partner was on the panel "Meeting energy demands with offshore wind", together with Francesco Cacciabue, CFA (GLENNMONT PARTNERS I LIMITED), Anna Lindstedt (Ambassador for the Ocean, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sweden) e Amisha Patel (Global Offshore Wind Alliance (GOWA), in a debate moderated by William Cleverly (OWC) on what actions need to be taken for offshore wind projects to reach their potential, as well as what role maritime renewables will play in grid electrification and energy security.
The 2024 agenda of this renowned event focused on ocean health, industry strategies to accelerate the sustainable ocean economy and ocean climate solutions. Over the course of three days (March 11-13, 2024), it featured a range of speakers and sessions on investment and financial tools to drive the restoration of ocean health.
